The company, formed in 1981, is engaged in production and worldwide sale of decorative greenery of the most varied nature.

Initially this was only textile and plastic plants. Later conserved palms and trees with natural trunks supplemented the range. Some years ago stabilized palms, boxwood trees, cypresses and others expanded the catalogue. Meanwhile the latter have come to represent the major part of the greenery range.

From the outset the SMILAX Company  has specialised in producing decorative plants individually tailored to the client's specification.

Individual raw materials are imported from all over the world and processed at the firm base in Willich, Germany. The firm also provides seasonal decoration and decoration for special events. Smilax is capable  of carrying out everything from conception to the construction of your individual requirement.

Customers include florists, architects, local authorities, department store groups, shopping centres, hotels, airports and many others.
